Human Resources

The Human Resources Director is responsible for the execution of the following projects:

  • Reports directly to the Vice-President of Internal Affairs.
  • Coordinates the recruitment, implementation, and retention of new members and existing members.
  • Collects ADVANCE applications and send application approval notices to new employees.
  • Meets with and assigns employees to departments.
  • Updates and maintains mailing list and roster for ADVANCE Executive Board and ADVANCE General Body members
  •  Addresses & Telephone numbers
  • Further Contact Information 
  • Provides setup and staffs a “check-in” table before each meeting.
  • Coordinates the New Member’s Orientation Committee.
  • Works with Marketing and Information Systems Departments to coordinate ADVANCE newsletter.
  • Orders and distributes business cards for Executive Board members.
  • Creates and implements criteria and determines the recipients for the follwoing awards:

1)      Employee of the Month       3) Speaker of the Year

2)      Executive of the Month       4)  All academic awards

  • Recognizes and rewards Employee of the Quarter for each department.
  • Registers and creates a booth for ADVANCE for the SALD Student Activities Fair.
  • Takes the initiative to establish & execute (upon approval) addition goals/ objectives.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.
