SAB Gets Ready for an Exciting Fall

The air may be getting cooler, but activity on campus is certainly heating up this Fall! On behalf of the Student Activities Board, I would like to welcome everyone back to campus. Although there are many events going on around campus at the moment, I would like to highlight several of these in particular: the Fall Activities Fair and the SAB Membership drive. The Fall Activities Fair will be taking place on October 6 from 11-2 on McMicken Commons.

University Funding Board

Are you interested in being part of an organization that directly impacts the funding and programming for student groups?  If so, then the University Funding Board (UFB) is for you!  Each time you pay UC’s general fee, a portion of that fee is allocated to UFB, and in turn, allocated to our university’s multitude of fun and diverse student groups.  UFB decides if student group budgets follow the UFB criteria, and then accordingly passes or denies the budgets.  We also provide weekly office hours to student groups to help them create budgets and plan events.

Did you know the Campus Recreation Center now offers FREE services for students including: climbing wall, student fitness and nutrition workshops, and group fitness?

Did you know most of our sports fields, including Nippert Stadium, can be used by any student when there is not an athletics game or practice?
