In response to the incident at Saturday's Crosstown Shootout, we would like to release the following statement on behalf of the student bodies of UC and Xavier.
The NightWalk Safety Board ("NSB") is a branch of Student Government formed in 2006 to focus on various safety aspects of student life at the University of Cincinnati. NSB strives to improve overall safety awareness at U.C., as well as combating the false perception of an unsafe campus. NSB is composed of two functional committees, one focusing on our NightWalk shuttle service (formally known as just "NightWalk"), and the other focusing on all safety programming, initiatives, and events.
Are you registered to vote in Cincinnati? Do you want to learn more about what you are voting on November 8th? The attached document will provide you with information and links to other resources in order to learn more about what will be on the ballot for those voting in Cincinnati.

What: 2011 Law School Fair - speak with law school admissions representatives and get information about LSAT preparation and financial aid
When: Wednesday, November 2, 2011 / 11 am - 2pm
Where: University of Cincinnati, Tangeman University Center, Atrium Level 3 (main level)
The fair is open to UC students and the general public. No set program - arrive at your convenience. Pre-Law advisors will be available to answer questions.
The nomination process has begun for the 2012 A.B. [Dolly] Cohen awards for excellence in teaching and the George B. Barbour award for furthering good student-faculty relations. The President's faculty awards committee has a website https://www.uc.edu/facultyawards.html which provides all the necessary guidelines.
