Welcome President Williams

The Student Government Association (SGA) would like to sincerely congratulate and welcome President Williams to campus for his first day at the University of Cincinnati (UC).

SGA looks forward to cultivating a strong and meaningful relationship with President Williams.  We will work hard to empower students and assure their representation with the new President in all affairs.  SGA is excited for the opportunity to work with President Williams and is eager for his time at UC to begin.

President Williams joins us from the City College of New York where he served as the college's president for 9 years.  Williams has served as the Dean of Ohio State University's Law School and is a native of Muncie, Indiana.  He is nationally recognized for his book “Life on the Color Line: The True Story of a White Boy Who Discovered He Was Black."

Please join with SGA in welcoming President Williams and the wisdom and foresight he brings.  We are all very enthusiastic about President Williams becoming a Bearcat!
