Student Activities Board

2009-2010 Student Group registration Registration for all student organizations began during the Spring 09 quarter with new officer updates. We are now starting the second phase which is attendance at the Registration workshop as well as the University Funding Board Treasurers workshop* (student groups that receive financial support from the University Funding Board (UFB) must attend a treasurers workshop however, club sports, graduate, and AIC groups should attend the workshop designed for their respective groups; therefore, they are not required to attend the UFB Treasurers Workshop).

In order for your student organization to be recognized as active for the 2009-2010 academic year all university organizations must complete the following:

· Update Officer and Roster information at https://www.uc.edu/sald/studentlogin.aspx. Please note that attached to this communication are the procedures on how to upload this data.

· Attendance at the SAB/SALD Registration Workshop · If applicable attendance at the UFB Treasurers Workshop

 · The deadline for student group registration is October 29, 2009. Listed below are the dates and times for the SAB/SALD Registration and UFB Treasurers workshops.

Fall Activities Fair! It’s here again! The Annual Fall Wellness/Student Activities Fair sponsored by Wellness and the Student Activities Board (SAB) will be held on October 7 from 12:00-2:00 on McMicken Commons. The purpose of the fair is to bring together student organizations from across the campus in an effort to promote student group’s mission and events to the university community. The vast majority of student organizations that participate in the fair not only publicize their organization, they also recruit new members! Senior Class Challenge:

UC Students! The University of Cincinnati Foundation, Senior Class Officers are seeking submissions for the 2010 Senior Class T-Shirt. This t-shirt will be given to any person who contributes to the 2010 Senior Challenge by making a gift to commemorate the 2009-2010 class year. Submissions must be received by September 1, 2009.

 All entries must be submitted at 8.5”x11” in PDF format and will be judged by the UCF Student Development Council. Prizes will be awarded to the winning design.
